Purchase and install a level 2 (240V) electric vehicle charger at home and receive a rebate reward card worth up to $500.
AMP is offering this cash rebate to encourage residential customers to take advantage of AMP's 100% clean energy by charging their EVs at a home charger in Alameda.
Level 2 chargers, known as electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), provide charging through a 240V AC plug. Level 2 charging provides about 10 to 60 miles of range to an electric vehicle's battery per hour of charging time, making it quicker and more convenient than standard 120V AC charging, which provides only about 2 to 5 miles per hour of charging.
This rebate can be used for the purchase, installation and/or permitting of a new, permanently installed level 2 home charger.

Consumers who purchase qualified residential fueling equipment between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2032, may receive a tax credit of up to $1,000.

Burbank residents may apply for an EV charging station rebate of up to $1,500 to offset some of the costs of purchasing and installing one or two Level 2 charging stations.
Residential customers can get rebates of up to $1,250 with an electric panel upgrade. Customers living in a Disadvantaged Community (DAC) area of Burbank can qualify for increased rebate amounts of up to $1,500 with an electric panel upgrade.

Central Coast Community Energy customers are eligible to receive a rebate of up to $3,000 for the purchase and installation of a qualifyng L2 charger. See website for more details.

The City of Ukiah's Electric Utility Department provides a rebate of $500 on a Level 2 electric vehicle charging station for residential customers. Qualifying Level 2 (240-volt) charger must be: new and unused; certified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL Listed); ETL Listed; or approved by the City of Ukiah Community Development Department.

Glendale Water & Power (GWP) offers rebates of up to $599 for residential customer for the installation of a Level 2 (240-volt) home charging station. Reimbursement is for out-of-pocket expenses for the charger, installation, and permit fees.

Imperial Irrigation District offers a $500 rebate for customers who purchase and install a Level 2 (240-volt) plug-in electric vehicle charger. View program website for eligibility requirements and incentive details.

Island Energy electricity customers who are current owners or lessees of plug in electric vehicles with an electric range in excess of 30 miles per charge are eligible for a rebate of up to $600 for the installation of a Level 2 (240-volt) home charging station.

Lodi Electric offers a rebate up to $750 to residential customers for the purchase and installation of a new, qualifying Level 2 (240-volt) electric vehicle charging station. Applications must be postmarked no later than 180 days after the purchase of the Level 2 charger. This program has a limited budget. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, until funds are depleted.

Eligible customers may receive a rebate of up to $1,000 for the purchase and installation of a qualified Level 2 (240-volt) charging station and a $250 rebate for the installation of a dedicated EV meter.
In addition, income-eligible customers participating in LADWP's Senior Citizen/Disability Lifeline or EZ-SAVE programs are eligible for an additional $500 rebate.

PG&E's Residential Charging Solutions program offers eligible customers a rebate on PG&E-approved electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment. Eligible applicants may receive a rebate valued at 50 percent of the purchase price of pre-approved equipment through the Standard Option, and income-eligible applicants may receive a rebate valued at 100 percent of the purchase price of pre-approved equipment through the Rebate Plus Option. Pasadena Water and Power customers can receive a $600 rebate when they install a qualifying Wi-Fi enabled Level 2 (240-volt) electric vehicle (EV) charger, or a $200 rebate when they install a standard (Non Wi-Fi) EV charger in their home.

Electric vehicle drivers who install a Level 2 (240-volt AC) plug-in charger at their residence in the service territory of Riverside Public Utilities, on or after July 1, 2021, are eligible for up to a $500 rebate. View program website for eligibility requirements and incentive details.

Customers of Roseville Electric who install a Level 2 (240-volt AC) plug-in charger at their residence are eligible for a $200 rebate. The qualified charger must be installed at and the current vehicle registration must be at a residential dwelling unit receiving electricity from Roseville Electric Utility, with a current electric service account. Santa Barbara Clean Energy residential electric customers are eligible for up to $600 for purchasing a new EV charger. Must be single-family homeowners and/or duplex owners who are purchasing a hardwired Level 2 Charger at a residence served by SBCE or a renter purchasing a plugin Level 2 Charger at a residence served by SBCE. SBCE's EV Make Ready Rebate provides rebates for single-family homes to complete electrical panel upgrades or prewiring to install a Level 2 (L2) EV charger. Qualifying applicants can receive rebates of up to $4,000. Please see website for additional information.

Anaheim Public Utilities is offering rebates to customers (both residential/domestic and business/non-domestic) who install Level 2 (240-Volt) plug-in Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers. Under this program, Anaheim will reimburse customers for out-of-pocket expenses, and the charging facility may be used for personal or business purposes without being made available to the public.

Customers will be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses:

Up to $300 for a Level 2 EV charger

Up to $600 for a networked charger and the customer must sign up for a time-of-use rate (TOU)

Eligible Silicon Valley Power customers may receive a rebate of up to $550 for the purchase and installation of a qualified Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Station. This rebate is available only to current Silicon Valley Power (SVP) residential customers who are under a residential rate schedule

SCE, in partnership with WeaveGrid, offers the Charge Smart - SoCal program to help EV drivers access valuable benefits, save money and simplify their charging experience. Participants receive a $50 sign-up reward and save up to $600 in annual charging costs. Program eligibility is limited to the "Gateway Cities" zip codes of SCE's territory. The Transportation Authority of Marin offers a EV equipment grant program to assist public agencies that install employee-only or publicly accessible EV charging stations. Based on a first-come first-serve basis until funds are depleted.
Provides matching funds of 88.25% of the complete installation up to $1,500 for one Level 1 charger (per charging head) or up to $3,000 for one Level 2 charger (per charging head)

Trinity Public Utilities Department offers an incentive in the form of a credit on your electrical account of $700 per qualified charging unit for the installation of a new Level 2 charging station. Applicants must be a current Trinity Public Utilities Department customer and submit the incentive application within six months of charger installation.

Truckee Donner Public Utilities District (TDPUD) is offering customers a rebate of up to $500 for the purchase and installation of a new Level 2 (240-volt) electric vehicle home charging station. To be eligible for the rebate, applicants must have an active RDPUD electrical account and submit their application no later than four months from the date the charger was purchased.

Vernon Public Utilities (VPU) residential electric customers are eligible for up to $2,500 in rebates, when a new, "Wi-Fi enabled" or "Internet Connected", Level 2 EV Charger is installed at the customer's residence.

WeaveGrid's ChargePerks California provides customers in eligible utility territories (SCE, SDG&E, PG&E, SMUD, and LADWP) the ability to support California's grid resiliency and save up to $700 in annual charging costs in the ChargePerks program, funded in part by the California Energy Commission (CEC).
