When purchasing or leasing a pre-owned electric vehicle (EV), Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) customers may be eligible for a $1,000 rebate. The PG&E Pre-Owned EV Rebate program offers two rebate levels, based on the applicant's household level of income when the pre-owned electric vehicle was purchased or leased.

Consumers who purchase qualified residential fueling equipment between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2032, may receive a tax credit of up to $1,000.

PG&E's Residential Charging Solutions program offers eligible customers a rebate on PG&E-approved electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment. Eligible applicants may receive a rebate valued at 50 percent of the purchase price of pre-approved equipment through the Standard Option, and income-eligible applicants may receive a rebate valued at 100 percent of the purchase price of pre-approved equipment through the Rebate Plus Option. WeaveGrid's ChargePerks California provides customers in eligible utility territories (SCE, SDG&E, PG&E, SMUD, and LADWP) the ability to support California's grid resiliency and save up to $700 in annual charging costs in the ChargePerks program, funded in part by the California Energy Commission (CEC). PG&E offers two electric vehicle rate plans for residential customers. Both EV rates are Time of Use (TOU). This means there are different prices for electricity depending on the time of day its used. In general, these types of rates are set up to encourage customers to avoid using electricity during the early evening when the cost of electricity is highest. These rates don't limit how much electricity you can at any time.
Home Charging (EV2-A) combines your vehicle's electricity costs with your home's electricity usage.
EV-B separates your vehicle's electricity costs from those of your home and involves the installation of second meter.
Both EV2-A and EV-B are non-tiered, time-of-use plans, which means that the rate you pay is based on the time of day you use the electricity.

The Consumer Assistance Program's (CAP) vehicle retirement option offers eligible consumers an incentive to retire their operational vehicle. Vehicle owners may receive $1,350 to retire their vehicle at a BAR-contracted dismantler. To determine your eligibility and incentive amount, start the application process on the program website.
