El Dorado County is offering residents a $599 incentive for the purchase or lease of an electric vehicle that is eligible for the DMV's Clean Air Vehicle (CAV) decal. See the list of eligible vehicles.

Funding from the DMV Grant Program is allocated to Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District's Vehicle Voucher program, which offers financial incentive in the form of a $4,000 voucher for the purchase of a new, eligible zero-emission vehicle. All ZEV Rebate Program applications will be processed in the order they are received and rebates will awarded first-come first-served until all program funds have been exhausted.

Antelope Valley residents can claim a $500 incentive for the purchase of any make and model battery-electric plug-in vehicle purchased only from Antelope Valley auto dealerships (out-of-area purchases are ineligible.)

Buy a used (pre-owned) battery electric vehicle (BEV) and you may be eligible for a cash rebate of $1,500. This rebate only applies to used all-electric vehicles with a purchase price below $40,000.

TAM's EV Fleet Rebate Program assists public agencies that replace internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles with electric (fuel cell and battery) and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The program provides the following rebates by vehicle type:
Hydrogen Fuel Cell: $5,000
Battery Electric Vehicle: $2,500
Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle: $1,500

Lodi Electric offers an electric vehicle (EV) charging rate which is available to EV owners who install a separate meter for their charging station.
The EV charging period is 8pm to 6am Monday through Friday, and all day on weekends and holidays.

Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) now offers customers an opportunity to charge their electric vehicles (EV) using a separate meter provided by the Utility. All customers in single-family dwelling units served under the standard domestic rate are eligible.
On January 1, 2019, Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) will begin offering customers an opportunity to charge their all-electric vehicles (EV) using a separate meter provided by the Utility in Single Family Dwelling Units concurrently served under Schedule D Domestic Service.

Get up to a $1,000 rebate from BWP when you purchase a pre-owned EV that is two years or older than the year in which you make the purchase. That means that any EV models from 2022 or older are eligible for a rebate during 2024.

For qualifying residential customers, the price for electricity consumed during the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. in excess of 50 kWh, shall be discounted by 5 cents per kWh from the "All excess kWh" contained in their respective rate schedule. The amount of discounted electricity shall not exceed 500 kWh per billing period.

SDG&E offers special EV pricing plans. Programming your EV to charge during super off-peak hours makes clean driving more affordable. Shifting some home energy use away from on-peak hours can add to the savings. Refer to website for more information.
