Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District - Old Car Buyback and Scrap Program

The Mojave Desert Old Car Buy Back and Scrap Program will pay $1,000 for a qualified operating and registered vehicle 20 or more years old. This Voluntary Accelerated Vehicle Retirement (VAVR) Program is not operated by the State of California. The program is currently contracted to be run by Environmental Engineering Studies, Inc.
