Silicon Valley Clean Energy's EV Rebate offers income-qualified residents a $2,000 rebate for purchasing or leasing a new or pre-owned EV or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. Silicon Valley Power offers incentives to income-qualified customers for the purchase of a pre-owned EV or plug-in hybrid vehicle. Receive $1,500 for a fully electric vehicle or $1,000 for a plug-in hybrid vehicle.

Customers who meet LIHEAP income eligibility requirements may be eligible for a bonus rebate of $1,000. Vehicles with an MPGe of 117 or greater may be eligible for a bonus rebate of $1,000.

The Driving Assistance Program provides grants and affordable financing to help low-income Californians purchase a new or used battery electric, plug-in hybrid or fuel-cell electric vehicle. DCAP offers two pathways to getting into your new clean air vehicle- Clean Cars for All (a scrap and replace program) or Financing Assistance (no scrapping required). Both pathways offer down-payment assistance in the form of upfront grants that are paid directly to the dealerships and do not need to be paid back. Qualified applicants may be eligible for grants up to $12,000 through Clean Cars for All or $7,500 through Financing Assistance.
