The Consumer Assistance Program's (CAP) vehicle retirement option offers eligible consumers an incentive to retire their operational vehicle. Consumers meeting the income eligibility requirement may receive up to $2,000 for their retired vehicle. All other vehicle owners may receive $1,350 to retire their vehicle at a BAR-contracted dismantler. To be eligible for the $2,000 incentive, your gross household income must be less than or equal to 225% of the federal poverty level and your vehicle must fail its most recent Smog Check inspection.

Commercial customers enrolled in 3CE service related to a commercial, agricultural, non-profit, multi-family housing, or industrial entity as well as public agencies are eligible to apply for the Electrify Your Ride Program. Customers can apply for up to 5 vehicles and receive a rebate of $2,000 for new battery-electric vehicles and $1,000 for used battery-electric vehicles.

The Electrify Your Ride Program offers income-qualified 3CE customers that purchase a new or used battery-electric vehicle with an additional rebate of up to $2,000, for a total rebate amount of up to $4,000. Customers that purchased a new or used plug-in hybrid electric vehicle are eligible for a rebate of up to $3,000.

The Electrify Your Ride Program offers 3CE customers that purchase a new battery-electric vehicle with a rebate of $2,000. Customers that purchased a used battery-electric vehicle are eligible for a $1,000 rebate.

MCE offers income-qualified customers a $2,000 rebate off the purchase or lease of a pre-owned qualifying EV at a participating dealership. Eligible drivers will need to complete the EV Instant Rebate Interest Form to participate.

Income Qualified buyers of a used (pre-owned) battery electric vehicle (BEV) may be eligible for a cash rebate of up to $4,500. The income-qualified rebate combines with the standard rebate for a total of $6,000. This rebate only applies to used all-electric vehicles with a purchase price below $40,000.
